Who are PH Wedding Rings?
We are one of the top wedding ring manufacturers in the UK supplying the jewellery trade.


How long have you been in business?
We started in 1967 in Hatton Garden in a small workshop which I guess means we’ve been around for almost 45 years.


How many retailers do you service in the UK?
We have over 3600 active accounts. Some buy occasionally and others can order several rings a day.


How many rings would I need to buy to open an account you?
We don’t stand on ceremony. If a customer wants to open an account with just one ring – no problem, we appreciate your custom, but a 20 ring order would be nice.


How do we trade with you?
Simply fill in the online trading form and we will do the rest for you.


Do I need to commit myself to getting an account in order to get access to your site?
No – By filling out the “Register” form, we will then send you a temporary password. This will give you a feel for PH, how we tick, our pricing structure and how our site works. After a while, we will contact you and ask you how you would like to proceed.


Is your site for “Trade” Customers only?
Yes – we do not sell to the public. The retailer has to be a jewellery retailer in order to get access to our prices. We take the details of the enquiring public then advise and guide them to their local stockist or online retailer. Obviously to be a PH stockist for referrals, the retailer needs to hold a large and varied selection of our rings.


Can we contact you by phone as well as online?
Yes – Our pride and joy is effective customer service. Our sales team is second to none on providing a reliable, professional and friendly sales service when you need advice. Despite our website being very comprehensive and user friendly, nothing can compare with our friendly telephone sales service and advice, which we encourage you to use.


How can I get started with your website?
If you already have an account, you should have a user name and password. If not, please contact us and we shall set you up.


Why have you given me 2 passwords?
The first password gives you access to the current prices either the trade price or your pre-set retail price. The master password gives you the ability to set up and determine your settings as well as the ability to order with us through the internet.


How can I find the rings that I’m looking for on your site?
The rings in the site generally follow the pages of our new catalogue. Therefore, you can find the ring in several ways: If you know the code, simply type it in the price enquiry or search box. If you do not know the code but you know what type of ring you want click on the appropriate category. It will then bring up the sub-categories and by clicking on the chosen


I have found the ring I want but I need it in a different weight, width and metal.
When you find your ring in price enquiry, you have various pull down buttons on the availabilities of profiles, widths and size ranges. As you change your options, the prices automatically change until you find your desired profile. The prices on the right side of the page displays all the metals and carats that the ring is available.


I have the prices for my customer now,but I would like to save them and get other prices?
You can tick the metal that you are interested in and add them to the Price Confirmation. This is now saved for the duration of the day (Due to fluctuating metal prices, we cannot save it for longer than 1 day). You can now return to price enquiry and add as many as your wish to the price confirmation.


I have saved my rings to the price confirmation and would like to order some of the rings. How can I do this?
Once you have rings in price confirmation and you have added the size required etc, click on “Add to basket” and then click the button for “Order Confirmation”. You now need to enter your master password to place the order. It now brings you to the order confirmation page where you can check all the details with delivery and final price information.


I have an account with PH. Can I send it straight to PH or do I need to print it and then fax/send the order?
No – By selecting the button at the bottom of the page “Send the order to PH” it will automatically send us a copy of your order. We will then check the order carefully and enter it on our system. You will also receive a confirmation of your order.


I have an immediate payment account. Can I still order on the internet?
It’s very simple! You can simply pay for the order online and the order will reach us as a fully paid order ready for production.


How long does it take for you to send out my rings?
We manufacture your rings within a very short timescale, typically 2 to 3 days for plain rings, 3 to 5 days for patterned, and up to 2 weeks for very intricate diamond set and multi coloured rings. We pride ourselves on a consistent rapid turnaround, you can rely on us for this.


What if my customers are getting married this weekend, can you help me out?
Scenarios such as this occur time and time again. The dress, the hall, the disco, the cake, are all booked well in advance, not so the poor wedding ring in many cases. More often than not we make the impossible possible for your customers. Please phone us to make your last minute orders happen on time, if it is humanly possible, we will fulfil these orders for you.


Why can’t I find some patterned rings in very narrow or very wide widths?
Not all patterns are shown at their best in all widths. We have made available rings to show off patterns at their optimum best. For guidance on patterns such as this we suggest phoning us.


I have bought from you for decades without a website, do I have to use it?
Firstly, unlike many banks, we are not trying to drive customers away from proper face-to-face or telephone sales or enquiries. An internet site is supplementary, it will not answer the many “what if” questions relating to suitability, timing, and other practicalities. What it will do for you is help you on late nights and weekends, and holidays, when we are closed. Retailers internet wants vary from 100% dependency on sites to complete technophobes, and telephone sales only. We attempt through this site to cater for all types.


Are your rings available on approval?
Unlike the diamond supplier facet of our industry, we do not offer an appro service for wedding rings. The reason is, all of our rings are specially made to order from our workshop. We do not hold finished rings in stock.


Do you offer sample ranges of your rings?
We can supply you with sample ranges in Argentium Silver. This branded, hallmarked Britania 958 silver is tarnish resistant, and will retain the look of your samples for much longer than sterling silver or brass. Please phone us to discuss your options.


Can I modify my choice of ring on your site?
We have over 7000 patterns available on our site. Should you wish a different edge, finish etc, for your customer you need to contact us by phone to make this possible.


What types of promotional materials do you offer me as a retailer?
We can supply you with catalogues (without our address so you can print or stamp your own details). Our large catalogues come in boxes of 50, and the smaller ones come in 100. We can also supply stands to display your rings. There is a nominal charge for promotional materials to cover costs and carriage.


Can I return rings to you if I change my mind?
Due to our rings being specifically manufactured for you, we are unable to accept returned rings, so it is important to get a firm order placed by your customer, before buying from ourselves. We may be able to size certain rings afterwards for you, but again, it is on you to get the sizing right.
